Pretty women wonder where my secret
lies I'm not cute or built to
suit a model's fashion size But
when I start to tell them
They think I'm telling lies.
I say It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips
The stride of my steps
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman Phenomenally
Phenomenal woman
That's me.
I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please
and to a man
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees
Then they swarm around me
A hive of honey bees
I say
It's the fire in my eyes
And the flash of my teeth
The swing of my waist
And the joy in my feet.
Phenomenally

Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me
They try so much
But they can't touch
My inner mystery.
When I try to show them
They say they still can't see.

It's the arch of my back
The sun of my smile
The ride of my breasts

When do I feel most free?
When I live beyond my own definitions.
*Today I'd rather have peace of mind than
live with my mind at pieces.
If you confuse me, I bless you and
release you.
*If it were still in my best interest, it
wouldn't be in the past.
*Any fear I may have may appear as a wall.
It is actually me beckoning myself to
walk through the mist.
*I promise never again to have a lover
as a distraction in my life.
I shall have a partner.
I shall be an addition to his life.
*Just for today I will not second guess
anything.
Spiritual information is on a
need-to-know basis.
And I don't always need to know why
things are.
*Keep breathing.
Return to your body. It is your only
vehicle.
Do not leave your vehicle unattended-it
will be stolen or towed.
*The universe knows when you feel worthy.
You slow down and become willing to
receive.
*I stopped sweeping it under the rug.
It just wouldn't heal because I wouldn't
deal.
Discover, disclose, discard.
*If I'm not always happy, that doesn't
mean I'm doing something wrong.
It means I am doing something real.
